Navigation Level 1 - 1 day course

Service Description

No prior experience is required to join us on this introduction to navigation level 1 course. Durring the course you will learn about map scales, contours, map features, cardinal points, measuring distance on the map and the ground. This course is run on the Long Mynd , Shropshire and participants should be prepared for the possibility of advers weather conditions. Please bring a minimum of 1ltr of drinking water and a packed lunch and check the kit list page for the equipment you need to bring. The course starts from Cardingmill Valley car park at 9am. Parking charges apply.

Cancellation Policy

To cancel your booking and receive a full refund or be offered a place on the next course you must notify us no later than 14 days prior to the course beginning. Some courses carry a none refundable deposit irrespective of time frame. Please contact us if you need any further information.
